The dog named “Zippo”, who was trained for 1.5 months within the scope of the research, was enabled to detect the mask with Covid-19.
In a room in the center, the mask of the patient with Covid-19 was left in an open bottle in one of the 9 perforated boxes. The trained dog named “Zippo” sniffed the boxes and then focused on the box with the mask.

Dogs used for pre-health screening in many countries will find the virus by sniffing, thanks to their sensitive noses. for the first time in Turkey, Ankara University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, coronavirus detector dogs were trained within the scope of the research project.
