Orlando Magic star Nikola Vucevic talked about his NBA legacy with the Magic team.
Despite being drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers, Vucevic, who spent only one season with the team and has become an important part of the Magic’s roster since its second season, spoke about what he will leave behind with the organization in an interview with The Athletic’s Shams Charania:
“A SPECIAL THING TO CREATE A HERITAGE”
“Being able to build a legacy with a team for a long time is something special. Another thing that is special to me is that we have won a little more in the last few seasons and joined the playoffs after being on the losing side for a long time. I can say it was rewarding. “
Vucevic also believes that playing in a team for a long time has its advantages:
“Not every player has the chance to compete for the championship by taking part in some of the best teams. It is often difficult to get into this situation. I think that being in one team for a long time also has a special side.”
