A professional match has not been played for 2 years in the UEFA-standard stadium built for 60 million TL in Tire.
The new stadium in UEFA standards, which was built at a cost of 60 million TL in Tire, which is 100 kilometers from the center of İZMİR, remained idle after only 1 year of use. In 2018, when it opened its doors, no professional league matches have been played for 2 years at the facility with a capacity of 15 thousand fans, which is the most modern and equipped stadium of the city. The construction cost of the stadium, which costs 60 million TL, was covered by İzmir BŞB, 46 million TL, and Tire Municipality, the rest. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, amateur league and infrastructure matches had to be stopped as of March 2020, while the facility of 15 thousand people in Tire has been completely silent since then. The maintenance of the stadium, which has not played any matches for the last 1 year, is carried out by Tire Municipality employees. Alsancak Stadium, renovated by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, will open its doors in the new season in the city where clubs such as KSK, Altay and Altınordu are located, whose dates are approaching and exceeding 100 years.
