The incident took place at around 20.30 in the Yavuz Özcan Park located on the cliffs in Muratpaşa district. Citizens who heard the scream of a person at sea reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. The police teams, who arrived at the scene in a very short time, saw the person at sea struggling and informed the marine police. The marine police took the person at sea to the Antalya Police Headquarters Marine Branch in Kaleiçi. The medical teams made the first response to the person who was brought to the shore by the marine police.
An unidentified person who fell into the sea in Antalya was rescued by the marine police.
The medical team wrapped the person who said he was cold with an emergency blanket. The person whose name could not be learned on the stretcher was taken to Antalya Training and Research Hospital by ambulance.
The medical teams made the first intervention to the person who was taken to the shore by the marine police. It was remarkable that the person whom the medical teams wanted to wear a neck collar said, “Stop, stop, don’t suffocate, sister, I can’t breathe.”
